The FINANCIAL — Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met Speaker of the National Assembly (Milli Mejlis) of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov, according to MFA of Georgia.
Discussions focused on the existing historical and friendly relations between the two countries and on the strategic partnership and importance of its further enhancement.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili underlined that one of the main priorities of his activity is further development of strategic relations with Azerbaijan that is conditioned by common interests of the two countries and by their participation in the significant international projects.
Talking points also included the current situation in the region and the need to insure stability and security in order to promote development of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
