The FINANCIAL — The Georgian and Turkish Foreign Ministers reaffirmed their readiness to hold first meeting of the High Level Strategic Co-operation Council at the level of Prime Ministers – the Georgian and Turkish Foreign Ministers told media representatives about this following their official meeting in Tbilisi.
According to the Georgian Foreign Minister, Georgia considers Turkey as a close friend, and there are many areas in which these two countries pursue strategic co-operation with each other.
Mikheil Janelidze spoke about the increasing dynamic of trade-economic relations between the two countries focusing on the important benefits which the Association Agreement will bring to Georgia’s trade partners and investors. For his part, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu reaffirmed Turkey’s interest in increased volume of Georgia exports, according to MFA of Georgia.
