The FINANCIAL — In the frames of the visit of the Georgian Foreign Minister to Hungary, on 29 March 2016 a Business Forum was held, which was organised by the Georgian and Hungarian Foreign Ministries, the Hungarian National Trading House and the Georgian National Investments Agency, according to MFA of Georgia.
The Georgian and Hungarian Foreign Ministers opened the business forum. Mikheil Janelidze called on Hungarian businessmen to get interested in Georgia’s investment potential and expressed Georgia’s readiness to promote the further enhancement of economic co-operation with Hungary. Hungarian businessmen were informed on the business environment and beneficial investment opportunities in Georgia. Mikheil Janelidze also highlighted the reforms carried out in Georgia in different directions and focused on future plans.
The Hungarian Foreign Minister, in turn, underlined the role of Georgia as a transit country and the important role Georgia has been performing in implementation of the regional, energy and transit projects.
The Business Forum was also attended both by Georgian businessmen and representatives of the business sector of Hungary.
