The FINANCIAL — The high-level governmental delegation from the Republic of Indonesia paid a two-day visit to Georgia to receive information regarding the successful reforms carried out in the Georgian economy and the innovations introduced in the sector of public services.
The Indonesian delegation was comprised of senior officials of local governments of cities and provinces, representatives from the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board and other officials.
The main goal of the Indonesian delegation was to receive information regarding the successful reforms carried out in the Georgian economy and the innovations introduced in the sector of public services, according to MFA of Georgia.
In the frames of the visit, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania held a meeting with Dr. Diah Natalisa, Deputy Minister for Public Service Affairs, Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms of the Republic of Indonesia.
David Jalagania welcomed the Indonesian delegation’s visit to Georgia expressing the hope that this visit will be interesting and fruitful and will make a considerable contribution towards the further development of relations between the two countries. For her part, Diah Natalisa emphasized the Indonesian Government’s close interest in the reforms, which have been carried out for making more effective the public service sector, as well as for improving the business environment in Georgia, and which have led Georgia to make an advance in its Doing Business rankings.
The sides also discussed the important issues on the agenda of bilateral relations positively assessing the relations between the two countries. They also expressed their commitment towards further intensifying cooperation in the areas of economy and tourism.
Following the meeting, Giorgi Pertaia, director of the Georgian National Investment Agency conducted a presentation dedicated to Georgia’s business and investment environment, as well as to successful economic reforms. Within the framework of the visit, the Indonesian delegation also visited the Public Service Hall and familiarized itself with the innovations introduced in the sector of public services in Georgia.
The visit to Georgia was organized through the support of the Georgian Embassy to Indonesia.
