The FINANCIAL — On 28 March 2016, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania met the delegation of Jordanian businessmen, according to MFA of Georgia.
The group of businessmen arrived in Georgia as part of the economic diplomacy campaign conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. The visit has been organised by the Georgian Embassy to Jordan and the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its aim is to receive information on Georgia’s business and investment opportunities.
The Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister appreciated the Jordanian side’s interest in Georgia and provided the members of the delegation with information on the political and economic situation, as well as on the ongoing reforms in Georgia. The sides exchanged views over trade-economic relations between Georgia and Jordan.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation of businessmen will also hold meetings at various line ministries, agencies and foundations.
The delegation includes representatives of the Jordan Exporters Association and the Business Association, as well as heads of up to ten large-scale Jordanian companies.
