The Kingdom of Spain has finished the process of ratification of the Association Agreement

The FINANCIAL — On 28 July 2015, the Kingdom of Spain finished ratification of the Association Agreement signed between the European Union and Georgia. 

In April 2015 the lower house of Spain’s legislative branch – the Congress – authorized the agreement; on May 27 it was ratified by the Senate. The ratification process was completed, when King Felipe VI signed the Association Agreement. The fact was officially notified to Brussels on 28 July 2015, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
