The mobile services operator life:) announced on August 13 that from now on its MeloRing service is available on WAP portal.
"One can select a tune that best suits his/her taste and mood. To make an order, a subscriber has to follow WAP portal of the operator and send a six digit code of the track he/she chooses via SMS," life:) reported.
The MeloRing service from life:) enables to replace standard connecting tone with a song, a music piece or joke sound effects and share one’s good humor with everyone who calls. Since 2005, all life:) subscribers can take advantages of this service, making orders of their favorite melodies through the life:) web site or by short number 5050, and from now on they can also make it through the WAP portal.
To order the melody instead of the connecting tone, the user has to follow wap.meloring.lifebox.com.ua, where one can preview top melodies by genre criteria and choose the one he/she would like to install. After that the subscriber has to send an SMS with the six digit code of the track at 5050, and the operator will complete the order shortly
An order fee is UAH 5.00, UAH 7.00 or UAH 9.00 for 30 days (with VAT, w/o PF), depending on chosen melody.
