The FINANCIAL — On 6 March, begins in New York the first edition of the “Spanish Small & Midcaps Conference”, organized by BME and BPI in collaboration with IESE Business School.
According to Bolsa de Madrid, the gathering will bring together 30 US institutional investors with the managers of 11 Spanish listed companies of medium and small capitalisation.
High-level international investors will have the opportunity to gain insight into these Spanish companies through approximately 100 private meetings scheduled to take place during the two-day event.
The listed companies that will be attending are: Acerinox, BME, Duro Felguera, Ebro Foods, Ence, Gamesa, Indra, Meliá Hoteles, Pescanova, Prisa and Tubacex. Their combined capitalisation exceeds €10 billion.
BME has a long experience in the organisation and development of these gatherings. BME has already organised three similar events in Paris, attended by a large number of institutional investors.
BME develops this initiative within the frame of the “Medium & Small Caps Initiative”, which it started more than seven years ago to boost the liquidity and access to financing of these companies through enhanced transparency and improved relations with market participants.
