The Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation has visited Tbilisi

The FINANCIAL — Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo paid a visit to Tbilisi, according to MFA of Georgia.

In the frames of the official visit on 28-29 February 2016, the Spanish Foreign Minister will meet Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Speaker of the Parliament David Usupashvili and Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze.

Following the meeting between the two Foreign Ministers, a joint press conference will be held. Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo will also meet Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.

In the frames of the visit, the Spanish Foreign Minister will visit Tbilisi Sameba Cathedral, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery and will pay tribute to the memory of those who died for the unity of Georgia and lay a wreath at the Fallen Heroes Memorial.
