The FINANCIAL — Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Gigi Gigiadze held a meeting with Special Representative of the Dutch Foreign Ministry Adriaan Palm to provide the Special Representative with the updated information on Georgia-EU co-operation priorities. Â
Discussions focused on the importance of timely completion of visa liberalisation with the EU, given the fact that Georgia has successfully implemented all necessary requirements. Talking points also included the negotiations due to be held in terms of Association Agenda for 2017-2020.
Adriaan Palm positively assessed the active involvement of the civil sector in the elaboration of the Association Agenda and showed interest in the existing co-operation between Georgia and the Eastern Partnership countries as well as in the Georgian Government’s vision in terms of the European integration.
The meeting was also attended by Dutch Ambassador to Georgia Johannes Douma, according to MFA of Georgia.
