The FINANCIAL — The Foreign Ministries of Georgia and the Argentine Republic conducted the 3rd round of bilateral political consultations on 25 April 2017.
The consultations from the Georgian side were led by First Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani and from the Argentinian side – Deputy Foreign Minister Gustavo Slauvinen.
The sides discussed important issues on the agenda of bilateral relations and agreed to further deepen co-operation in economy, tourism, culture and other areas, according to MFA of Georgia.
Discussions also focused on co-operation in bilateral and multilateral formats. The sides noted with satisfaction the ongoing process towards the development of the bilateral legislative framework.
Within the framework of the bilateral political consultations, the Latin American and Caribbean Film Festival was officially opened under the aegis of the Georgian Foreign Ministry, as part of the activities to mark the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Argentine Republic, which was attended, along with members of the Argentinian delegation, by foreign diplomats accredited to Georgia.
