The FINANCIAL — Thomson Reuters Corporation revealed earnings for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year, according to Nasdaq.
The company said its bottom line came in at $405 million, or $0.52 per share. This was up from $361 million, or $0.45 per share, in last year’s third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.49 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.2% to $2.98 billion. This was down from $3.11 billion last year.
