The FINANCIAL — Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) held its annual company entrance ceremony here at TMC's head office building to welcome new employees.
TMC participants, totaling approximately 300 people, included 28 executives, including Chairman Fujio Cho, Vice Chairman Takeshi Uchiyamada and President Akio Toyoda, a total of 15 representatives from the Toyota Motor Workers' Union and various management groups, as well as officials and representatives from each division.
As Toyota Motor Corporation said, the 1,179 new employees present (compared to 1,211 at last year's ceremony) comprised 97 in administration, 491 in engineering, 19 in clerical fields, 525 in production and 47 in health-services.
