The FINANCIAL — Georgian citizens now can access a new information portal to identify their family physicians and primary healthcare facilities: http://ambulatoria.moh.gov.ge/.
After providing their personal identification numbers, citizens can pinpoint primary healthcare facilities where they are registered and identify their family physicians in charge of supervising their health conditions.
Users of the universal healthcare program must contact their family physicians or primary healthcare facilities where they are registered.
Holders of private insurance policies must contact family physicians assigned by their insurance companies. Those who are not beneficiaries of the universal healthcare program or holders of private insurance policies, as well as beneficiaries of the universal healthcare program who are not registered in any medical facility, must contact the Health Ministry’s hotline at 1505.
The information portal is designed to reduce the number of 112 calls and improve the quality of medical services.
To retrieve the contact information of family physicians/medical facilities, please visit the information portal at http://ambulatoria.moh.gov.ge/ or contact the Health Ministry’s hotline at 1505.
