The opening of the 30th Holiday Inn in Germany marks an important milestone in the brand’s history, with the Holiday Inn Brand Family accounting for 85% of IHG’s German system size. IHG’s growth in Germany has been unprecedented: in the last four years, IHG has enjoyed record breaking signings with 19 hotels signed in 2017. So far in 2018, a further two hotels have been added to the pipeline – Holiday Inn Express Goeppingen and Holiday Inn Express Munich – Olching, further cementing IHG’s position as number 1 in terms of rooms in the German branded market pipeline, according to IGH.

IHG has 29 Holiday Inn hotels (6,712 rooms) currently open in Germany, with 7 hotels (1,527 rooms) in the development pipeline. In total, IHG has 77 hotels (15,632 rooms ) across Germany, with 43 hotels (7,539 rooms) in the development pipeline.
