The FINANCIAL — Volvo Buses, Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks recently were acknowledged through prestigious awards at the 6th Apollo CV Awards held in Mumbai. The CV Awards are one of the country’s most prestigious awards in the commercial vehicle arena, according to Volvo Group.
Volvo Buses in India received the “M & HCV People mover of the year award”. An apt award – considering that the Volvo 8400 City Buses has taken the Volvo City Bus experience to 20 cities across India.
Volvo Trucks got the award for the recently launched new Volvo FMX as the “HCV Tipper of the year”. With this new product, Volvo Trucks, the leader in high-performing tippers, has raised the standards across all areas affecting transport economy in the mining segment. Eicher Pro 1110XP – known for its fuel efficiency was awarded the “ICV Cargo Carrier of the Year” Award, according to Volvo Group.
