The FINANCIAL — During three recent seasons, the share of the Turkish market in the structure of export supplies of Ukrainian goods continues steadily increasing.
According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, despite some declining of the exports in absolute terms from 3.8 bln USD in 2013, to 2.8 bln USD in 2015, the share of export revenues from the goods supplies to Turkey increased from 6% to 7.3%, respectively.
At the same time, Turkey still actively imports Ukrainian agricultural products. In particular, Turkey usually purchases significant volumes of wheat, barley and wheat bran from the grain products segment. According to APK-Inform data, in 2015 Ukraine supplied 219.2 thsd tonnes of wheat to Turkey, as well as 50 thsd tonnes of barley and 454.2 thsd tonnes of wheat bran.
