The FINANCIAL — 25 September 2017 Sheremetyevo International Airport held a meeting ceremony of Atlasglobal first flight from Ataturk International airport. Atlasglobal became the first foreign airline performing scheduled flights from Sheremetyevo to Istanbul.
The inaugural flight ceremony was attended by Atlasglobal Sales Director Recep Emanet, Deputy CIS Sales Director Ahmet Can Akbuga, Regional director for Russia Nejdet Tasci, Ground Operations Director Yuksel Atak and Deputy General Director for passenger service and aircraft handling JSC “MASH” Dmitry Kaigorodov.
Passengers of Atlasglobal are serviced in Terminal E Sheremetyevo. Atlasglobal airline has scheduled daily flights (in the summer schedule airline’s arrival is at 12.30 MSK, the departure is at 16.00 MSK). Airbus 319, A320 and A321 with a capacity of 136 seats, 164 seats and 204 respectively to be operated on the route. Moscow became the fifth Russian city in the route network of Atlasglobal.
Business class passengers may take advantages of additional services such as free baggage allowance (40 kg), delicious cuisine from airline’s onboard chef, priority baggage services, and free VIP shuttle service to the aircraft at Ataturk airport, according to Sheremetyevo International Airport.
Atlasglobal Sales Director Recep Emanet said: “Atlasglobal continues to expand its network from East to West. With opening of new routes in Europe, the Middle East, the CIS, in particular Russia and Ukraine, we have reached more than 50 destinations. Deputy General Director for passenger service and aircraft handling JSC “MASH” Dmitry Kaigorodov mentioned: “Sheremetyevo International Airport welcomes the new aviation partner. We can offer modern infrastructure and qualified staff, which is ready to provide airlines and its passenger’s high level of service, reliability and safety”.
Next year Sheremetyevo will meet participants and guests of the World Cup with the new Terminal B which has capacity of 20 million passengers per year and new automated transport system which connects terminals under runways. Turkish football fans who will arrive to Moscow on flights Atlasglobal will be able to gain all advantages of the new Terminal B, modern infrastructure and excellent service of Sheremetyevo.
