The basketball game was played at an altitude of five thousand meters, the fastest dunks were shot with the speed of 250 km on the commercial film of Turkish Airlines, the sponsor of the most important professional basketball competitions, National Men's Basketball and 2010 FIBA World Championship.
"The jump points were investigated in Izmir and Eskisehir for shooting of the commercial. Finally, the last jump point was decided in Kayseri which is also the city where the World Championship will be held in. Seven national parachuters involved in shooting and reached at jumping height of five thousand meters which is not normally been exceeded. The basket show in the sky was recorded in three days after the two days trial. The basketballs and the hoop were specifically re-built for the shooting. The weight of the basketballs was fixed at seven kilos to catch the same speed with the parachuters dropped. Each ball could be used once during the game and there were 84 basketballs used in total. Every dunk shot hit the basket hoop with the speed of 250 km fast. "Go pro" cameras were imported from abroad and used which is also being used and preferred for action scenes. The seven cameras were placed on parachuters’ helmets which were all recording at the same time," Turkish Airlines reported.
The last scene of shooting was ended in Istanbul and the commercial was shot with the participation of Hidayet Turkoglu, Kerem Tunceri and Omer Onan along with the other National Basketball Team players. The music of the commercial project is prepared to become the anthem of the tribunes. The film made by Rabarba Digital Agency and directed by Emre Sahin.
