During the period of April-May 2017, total passengers carried increased by 6.2%, while passengers carried in international lines increased by 9.1%.
During the same period, total Revenue Passenger Km (RPK) increased by 9%, while RPK in international lines increased by 10%.
During the period April-May 2017, total L/F increased by 4,5 point to %78,3, while international L/F increased by 5,1 point to %77,3.
International-to-international transfer passengers increased by 11.1%, compared to the period of April-May 2016.
Cargo/Mail carried during the period of April -May 2017 increased by 34.1%, compared to the same period of 2016.
During the period of April-May 2017, the regional developments:
Increase in RPK in Far East and Africa are 14.7% and 12.6%
Increase in L/F in Far East and Middle East are 7.3 pt and 7.6 pt
Increase in passenger carried in Far East, Africa and Europe are 14.8%, 12.4% and 10.8%, respectively, according to Turkish Airlines.
Traffic Results for May 2017
During the period of May 2017, total capacity increased by 2%, compared to May 2016.
During the period of May 2017, total passenger carried increased by 4.5%, whereas number of passengers carried in international lines increased by 6.7%, compared to May 2016.
During the period of May 2017, total L/F increased by 3.2 point to 77.6%, while International L/F increased by 3.5%.
RPK increased by 6.4% during the period of May 2017 compared to the same period of 2016. Increase in RPK in international lines is 7.2%.
International-to-international transfer passengers increased by 5.0%, compared to May 2016.
Cargo/Mail carried during the period of May 2017 increased by 33.2%, compared to May 2016.
During the period of May 2017, the regional developments:
Increase in RPK in Far East and Africa are 12% and 8.3%
Increase in L/F in Far East and Middle East are 6.4 pt and 4.1 pt
Increase in passenger carried in Far East, Africa and Europe are 11.8%, 6.8% and 5.3%, respectively.
