The FINANCIAL — According to Georgian news agency "Pirveli", U.S. ambassador John Tefft says that there were no mass violations while January 5 presidential elections, therefore he will not support setting of the second tour of the elections.
As U.S. ambassador told after his meeting with acting president Nino Burdjanadze, he visited CEC four times and eyed ongoing processes there with deep attention.
“Accredited diplomats and international communities while face the same enforce while up- coming parliamentary elections” –Tefft said.
As it` s known, CEC announced presidential Saakashvili as winner in January 5 early presidential elections. But the opposition has its juridical documentation on election violations and claims setting of the second tour of the elections.
