The FINANCIAL — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce named Christopher Roberti as Chief of Staff. In this role, Roberti will work closely with Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue, the chief operating officer, executive vice presidents, heads of the Chamber’s departments and business units, and Chamber members, to coordinate policy initiatives and programs.
“For a long time Chris has been a trusted advisor on a range of domestic and international issues, program integration, and strategy,” said Donohue. “He has earned this position because he is an outstanding leader, a problem solver, and understands how to coordinate our policy initiatives and programs in a way that advances the free enterprise system.”
Roberti will continue to serve as vice president and advisor to the president, helping to manage the operations of the executive office, overseeing domestic and international trips, and running a global security briefing program, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Roberti worked in the federal government and in the private sector on international and national security affairs. He began his career as a corporate attorney in the global law firm Clifford Chance LLP, where his practice focused on international private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and securities transactions. Roberti is a member of the New York and District of Columbia Bars.
