The FINANCIAL — In Ukraine, as of April 22, 595 thousand hectares from 8.557 million hectares sown under winter crops were damaged, it is 7% of the whole territory, informed the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, citing data from the regions.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, on that date 7.96 million hectares of winter crops survived, they are 3.359 million ha (42,2% of the total land area) are in good and 3,772 million ha (47,4%) – in fair condition .
In addition, 831.5 thousand ha, 10,4% of winter grains are weak and sparse.
According to the forecast of the Ministry, 691.4 thousand hectares, or 8,1% of winter crops require replanting
