The FINANCIAL – According to RIA Novosti, the Ukrainian government has allocated $3 million to repair damage caused by a storm that hit the southern part of the country on November 11, the country's prime minister said.
Viktor Yanukovych said the government will make extra allocations as soon as the total damages are assessed.
The storm caused four ships and an oil tanker to sink in a strait between the Black and Azov seas.
The tanker spilled around 1,300 metric tons of fuel oil and 6,800 tons of sulfur into the sea.
