The FINANCIAL — Ukraine and Singapore are likely to reach agreement on visa-free regime, reads a statement made by the Cabinet of Ministers press service.
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov at a meeting with Singapore's Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew has proposed to step up work on introduction of visa-free regime between the countries.
Apart from this, the Ukrainian prime minister ha announced preparation for signing a bilateral agreement on free trade zone and an agreement on air communication, which supposes organisation of direct air flights connecting the countries.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, President Viktor Yanukovych intends to visit Singapore in a period between January and March of 2011.
Lee Kuan Yew is staying in Ukraine on an official visit from September 19 to 22.
