The FINANCIAL — In Ukraine the bread producers are preparing an appeal to the Government to ban the exports of flour, to avoid any rising of prices for bread, declared Vladimir Chereda, Chairman of the Board of Kyivhlib OJSC.
According to him, the prices for top-grade flour in the port totals 7100 UAH/t, i.e. in Kiev the price will total 7100 UAH/t minus transportation costs. Bread producers have already raised prices for non-social varieties, due to increased production costs. He added that the market participants are preparing an appeal to the Government through the association Ukrhlebprom, in order to ban the exports of flour to reduce the prices on the domestic market.
V.Chereda added that he expects for further price increasing for bread in Ukraine, because of the rising costs for its production, according to APK Inform-Agency.
According to him, in 2014 the company Kyivhlib had losses at the sum 18 mln UAH, due to the economic and political situation in the country.
