The FINANCIAL — According to the President of Ukrainian Grain Association Vladimir Klimenko, as for March 31, 2008, Ukraine exported 900.000 tonnes of grain from the established by the Ukrainian Government export quota in the volume of 1.2 mln tonnes.
According to V. Klimenko, Ukraine exported less grain as it was allowed because the country has temporarily fallen out from the world grain trade, and it is very difficult to recommence the process after its stoppage.
According to V. Klimenko, the exporters physically had no time to export allowed volumes. At that, the uncertainty with grain export quotation restrained the traders from stocks accumulation in the ports.
At that, V.Klimenko noted that currently the maize export which quotation was cancelled is restrained due to the registration procedure for licenses receiving.
