Ukraine fixed zero inflation rate in August

The FINANCIAL — In August in Ukraine the consumer prices remained at the previous month level, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on September 10.

In particular, in August the prices of vegetables declined by 10.5% in comparison with the previous month, fruits – by 6.2%, fish and products – by 0.4%, butter – by 0.2%.

Herewith, the prices of cheese remained at the July level.

At the same time, during the reporting period the prices of eggs increased by 6%, meat and products – by 1%, bread and products – by 0.7%, macaroni products – by 0.3%, sugar, milk and sunflower oil – by 0.1%.

According to the State Statistics Service the consumer prices in August in 2018 increased by 9% in comparison with the same month in 2017, and in comparison with December – by 3.6%.
