The FINANCIAL — The growth of the gross domestic product of Ukraine, in January-February of the current year, compared to the same period of the last year made up 5.8%, and in February – 6.7%.
UNIAN was told about that in the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
The nominal GDP, by preliminary assessment, made up 118 billion 557 million hryvnias during January-February of 2008, and 60 billion 837 million hryvnias in February.
The biggest growth of value added in January-February of 2008 was recorded in trade – by 14.3%, processing industry – 9.8%, transport and communication – 8.3%.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the GDP growth on the results of the year 2007 made up 7.3%, compared with the year 2006.
