The FINANCIAL — As of August 25, agrarians harvested 37 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 10.294 mln ha, or 70% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.59 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, Ukraine already harvested early grains and pulses throughout 100% of the planned areas (10.16 mln ha), the production reached 36.78 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.62 t/ha.
As for late grains, Ukraine harvested buckwheat throughout 43 thsd ha (33%). The production volumes totaled 53 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.22 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 100 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 51 thsd ha (48%), with the yield of 1.95 t/ha.
Ukraine started harvesting soybeans, and already produced 30 thsd tonnes of the oilseed. The planted areas reached 17 thsd ha (1%), with the yield of 1.76 t/ha, according to APK Inform.
Agrarians prepared the soil throughout 5.77 mln ha (70%) for the planting campaign of winter crops. As of the reporting date, agricultural producers planted winter rapeseed throughout 162 thsd ha (20%).
