The FINANCIAL — As of August 17, Ukrainian agrarians already harvested nearly 34 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout 9.8 mln ha, or 99% of the forecast, with the average yield at 3.47 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to APKinform, in particular, the harvested volumes of winter wheat totaled 24.3 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.8 t/ha; spring wheat — 624 thsd tonnes, with the yield at 3.52 t/ha; winter barley — 3.1 mln tonnes, with the yield at 3.53 t/ha; spring barley — 4.4 mln tonnes, with the yield at 2.74 t/ha; and peas — 793 thsd tonnes, with the yield at 1.86 t/ha.
In addition, agrarians harvested 381 thsd tonnes of rye throughout 144 thsd ha (97%), with the yield at 2.64 t/ha; and 391 thsd tonnes of oats throughout 167 thsd ha (85%), with the yield at 2.34 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 2.5 mln tonnes of winter rapeseed throughout 968.7 thsd ha (100%), with the yield at 2.63 t/ha. In addition, the harvested areas under spring rapeseed reached 40 thsd ha (61%), and the production — 82 thsd tonnes, with the yield at 2.06 t/ha.
At the same time, agrarians started planting winter rapeseed for the harvest-2019 — the areas reached 342.9 thsd ha, or 39% of the plan.
