The FINANCIAL — As of July 2, agrarians harvested 1.102 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 366 thsd ha, or 7% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.01 t/ha. Agrarians of 12 oblasts of Ukraine already started harvesting works. At the same time, on July 2, 2014, agrarians harvested 3.867 mln tonnes of grains throughout 1.371 mln ha (14%), with the yield of 2.8 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested winter wheat throughout 41.3 thsd ha. The production volumes totaled 131.3 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 3.18 t/ha, according to APK Inform.
Agrarians harvested 914.9 thsd tonnes of winter barley throughout 297.2 thsd ha, with the yield of 3.08 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested 15.3 thsd tonnes of spring barley throughout 5.1 thsd ha (the yield totaled 3.02 t/ha).
The peas production volumes reached 40.9 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.83 t/ha. The harvested areas totaled 22.4 thsd ha.
As for winter rapeseed, agrarians harvested 56.5 thsd tonnes of the oilseed throughout 32.7 thsd ha, with the average yield of 1.73 t/ha.
