The FINANCIAL — As of September 17, agrarians harvested 38.618 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 10.68 mln ha, or 73% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.62 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested corn throughout 248 thsd ha (6%), the produced volumes reached 1.065 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.29 t/ha, according to APK Inform.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 101 thsd ha (76%). The production volumes totaled 120 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.19 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 195 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 97 thsd ha (90%), with the yield of 2.01 t/ha.
Also, agrarians continued providing the mass harvesting campaign of sunflower seed. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 3.43 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 1.726 mln ha (35%). The average yield totaled 1.99 t/ha.
Ukraine already produced 949 thsd tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 534 thsd ha (25%), with the yield of 1.78 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agricultural producers planted winter grains throughout 1.072 mln ha (15%), including 1.015 mln ha of winter wheat and triticale, 39 thsd ha of winter rye, 18 thsd ha of winter barley. In addition, agrarians planted winter rapeseed throughout 531 thsd ha (65%).
