The FINANCIAL — As of September 21, agrarians harvested 39.295 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 10.832 mln ha, or 74% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.63 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested corn throughout 387 thsd ha (9%), the produced volumes reached 1.702 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.4 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 105 thsd ha (80%). The production volumes totaled 124 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.18 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 196 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 98 thsd ha (91%), with the yield of 2.01 t/ha.
Also, agrarians continued providing the mass harvesting campaign of sunflower seed. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 4.374 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 2.183 mln ha (44%). The average yield totaled 2 t/ha.
Ukraine already produced 1.184 mln tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 686 thsd ha (32%), with the yield of 1.73 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agricultural producers planted winter grains throughout 1.689 mln ha (23%), including 1.595 mln ha of winter wheat and triticale, 58 thsd ha of winter rye, 35 thsd ha of winter barley. In addition, agrarians planted winter rapeseed throughout 545 thsd ha (61%).
