The FINANCIAL — As of September 12, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 39.032 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 10.011 mln ha, or 70% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.9 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. At the same time, on the same date last year the production volumes reached 38.1 mln tonnes.
In particular, agrarians started harvesting corn. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 478 thsd tonnes of the grain throughout 113 thsd ha (3%). The average yield reached 4.22 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.
Also, Ukraine harvested 133 thsd tonnes of buckwheat throughout 104 thsd ha (69%). The average yield totaled 1.29 t/ha. Agrarians harvested millet throughout 85 thsd ha (83%). The production volumes totaled 155 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.83 t/ha.
Agricultural enterprises of Ukraine harvested 2.394 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 1.192 mln ha (20%), with the average yield of 2.01 t/ha.
Ukraine continued harvesting soybeans. Agrarians harvested 557 thsd tonnes of the oilseed throughout the areas of 270 thsd ha (15%), with the average yield of 2.06 t/ha.
