The FINANCIAL — As of October 5, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 43.529 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 11.717 mln ha, or 80% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.71 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested corn grain throughout 1.243 mln ha (30%), the produced volumes reached 5.87 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.72 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 113 thsd ha (86%). The production volumes totaled 132 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.17 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 202 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 102 thsd ha (94%), with the yield of 1.99 t/ha.
Also, agrarians continued providing the mass harvesting campaign of sunflower seed. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 8.352 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 4.007 mln ha (81%). The average yield totaled 2.08 t/ha.
Ukraine already produced 2.208 mln tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 1.279 mln ha (60%), with the yield of 1.73 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agricultural producers planted winter grains throughout 4.308 mln ha (58%), including 3.992 mln ha of winter wheat and triticale, 122 thsd ha of winter rye, 194 thsd ha of winter barley. In addition, agrarians planted winter rapeseed throughout 577 thsd ha (80%).
