The FINANCIAL — As of October 8, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 45.537 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 12.088 mln ha, or 83% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.77 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested corn grain throughout 1.602 mln ha (39%), the produced volumes reached 7.83 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.89 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 115 thsd ha (87%). The production volumes totaled 135 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.17 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 206 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 103 thsd ha (96%), with the yield of 2 t/ha.
Also, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested 9.248 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 4.354 mln ha (88%). The average yield totaled 2.12 t/ha.
Ukraine already produced 2.519 mln tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 1.454 mln ha (68%), with the yield of 1.73 t/ha.
As of October 8, agricultural producers planted winter grains throughout 4.921 mln ha (67%), including 4.503 mln ha of winter wheat and triticale, 129 thsd ha of winter rye, 288 thsd ha of winter barley. In addition, agrarians planted winter rapeseed throughout 611 thsd ha (74%).
