The FINANCIAL — As of October 15, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 48.913 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 12.699 mln ha, or 87% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.85 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested corn grain throughout 2.2 mln ha (53%), the produced volumes reached 11.157 mln tonnes, with the yield of 5.07 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 118 thsd ha (89%). The production volumes totaled 138 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.17 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 207 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 104 thsd ha (96%), with the yield of 2 t/ha.
Also, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested 9.89 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 4.661 mln ha (94%). The average yield totaled 2.12 t/ha.
Ukraine already produced 2.912 mln tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 1.698 mln ha (79%), with the yield of 1.71 t/ha.
As of October 15, agricultural producers planted winter grains throughout 5.513 mln ha (75%), including 4.934 mln ha of winter wheat and triticale, 136 thsd ha of winter rye, and 443 thsd ha of winter barley.
