The FINANCIAL — As of October 29, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 53.781 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 13.579 mln ha, or 93% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.96 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine. As a reminder, on the same date last year agrarians produced 54.828 mln tonnes of grains.
In particular, Ukraine harvested corn grain throughout 3.062 mln ha (74%), the produced volumes reached 15.964 mln tonnes, with the yield of 5.21 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 122 thsd ha (96%). The production volumes totaled 140 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.15 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 209 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 104 thsd ha (99%), with the yield of 2 t/ha.
Also, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested 10.385 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 4.894 mln ha (98%). The average yield totaled 2.12 t/ha.
Ukraine already produced 3.326 mln tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 1.959 mln ha (92%), with the yield of 1.7 t/ha.
