The FINANCIAL — As of November 15, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 59.285 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 13.279 mln ha, or 93% of the plan. The average yield totaled 4.46 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. At the same time, on the same date last year the production volumes reached 58.4 mln tonnes.
In particular, agrarians continued harvesting corn. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 20.217 mln tonnes of the grain throughout 3.253 mln ha (77%). The average yield reached 6.21 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.
Also, Ukraine harvested 191 thsd tonnes of buckwheat throughout 149 thsd ha (99.8%). The average yield totaled 1.28 t/ha. Agrarians harvested millet throughout 104 thsd ha (100%). The production volumes totaled 190 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.83 t/ha.
Agricultural enterprises of Ukraine harvested 13.221 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 5.823 mln ha (98%), with the average yield of 2.27 t/ha.
Ukraine continued harvesting soybeans. Agrarians harvested 3.977 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout the areas of 1.741 mln ha (95%), with the average yield of 2.28 t/ha.
Ukraine continued realizing the planting campaign of winter grains. As of November 15, agrarians planted winter grains throughout 6.912 mln ha (94% of the plan), up 316 thsd ha compared with the same date last year.
In particular, Ukraine planted winter wheat and triticale throughout 5.888 mln ha (95%), winter rye – 157 thsd ha (106%), and winter barley – 866 thsd ha (84%). Also, Ukraine planted winter rapeseed throughout 836 thsd ha (115%).
