The FINANCIAL — In January-July of 2016, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 19.451 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (including 19.045 mln tonnes of grains), an increase of 5.4% compared with the same period of 2015, declared the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 1.283 mln tonnes of grains at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 34.2% compared with January-July of 2015), private stevedoring companies at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 10.564 mln tonnes (up 30.7%), and stevedoring companies at their own berths – 7.603 mln tonnes (down 9.7%).
In addition, Mykolaiv Sea Trade Port processed 4.667 mln tonnes of grain cargoes, up 5.5% compared with the same index in 2015, according to APK-Inform.
Also, Odessa Sea Commercial Port transshipped 4.369 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (up 3%), Commercial Port of Yuzhnyi – 4.028 mln tonnes (down 18.7%), Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk – 3.727 mln tonnes (up 39.6%), Oktiabrsk Port – 895.83 thsd tonnes (down 12.2%), Kherson Port – 674.02 thsd tonnes (up 60.8%), Berdiansk Port – 500.45 thsd tonnes (up 21.7%), Mariupol Port – 376.78 thsd tonnes (up 189.1%), Reni Port – 126.61 thsd tonnes (up 5.1%), and Izmail Port – 68.26 thsd tonnes (up 70.2%).
