The FINANCIAL — In January-July period of 2016, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 2.681 mln tonnes of bulk vegetable oils, an increase of 19.2% compared with the same period in 2015. The export volumes totaled 2.511 mln tonnes of veg oils (up 18.7%), informed the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 78.19 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (up 33% compared with January-July of 2015), private stevedoring companies at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 2.165 mln tonnes (up 27.4%), stevedoring companies at their own berths – 437.46 thsd tonnes (down 11%), according to APK-Inform.
According to the announcement, in the reporting period Mykolaiv Sea Trade Port shipped 1.137 mln tonnes of veg oils, up 80.7% compared with the same period last year. Also, Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk shipped 748.05 thsd tonnes of veg oils (down 24%), Sea Commercial Port of Yuzhnyi – 605.59 thsd tonnes (up 13.1%), Odessa Sea Commercial Port – 85.81 thsd tonnes (up 101.6%), Izmail Port – 44.79 thsd tonnes (up 263.9%), Mariupol Port — 33.4 thsd tonnes (down 28.2%), and Kherson Port – 26.21 thsd tonnes.
