The FINANCIAL — In January-May of 2015, the sea port Nika-Tera (Mykolayiv) processed 711 thsd tonnes of grain cargoes, which is nearly 42.9% of the general cargo turnover (1.658 mln tonnes), declared the press-service of the company on June 23. Also, the terminal shipped 525 thsd tonnes of the mineral fertilizers (31.6%).
According to Oleksandr Gaidu, Chairman of Nika-Tera specialized sea port, grains remain the key cargo for the company. Therefore, the terminal continues investing resources in development of the grain terminal.
In the reporting period, the transit cargo shipment increased by 34.4% compared with the same period last year, to 432.4 thsd tonnes, meanwhile the import cargo shipment reached 65 thsd tonnes (down 11.8%), and the exports — 1.156 mln tonnes (down 29.7%), according to APK Inform.
In particular, in May 2015 Nika-Tera transshipped 309 thsd tonnes of cargoes. In particular, the shipment volumes of grains totaled 78.5 thsd tonnes, and mineral fertilizers – 159 thsd tonnes.
