The FINANCIAL — In January-November of 2015, the sea port Nika-Tera (Mykolaiv, part of Group DF) shipped 1.92 mln tonnes of grain cargoes, which was nearly 52.4% of the general cargo turnover (3.6 mln tonnes), declared the press-service of the company on December 16. Also, the terminal shipped 648.2 thsd tonnes of mineral fertilizers (17.7%).
In November 2015, Nika-Tera transshipped 301.5 thsd tonnes of cargoes. In particular, the shipment volumes of grains totaled 176 thsd tonnes, and mineral fertilizers – 28.9 thsd tonnes. Nika-Tera processes 14 bulk carriers. In the reporting period, the export cargo shipment totaled 273.5 thsd tonnes, meanwhile the import cargo shipment reached 10 thsd tonnes, and the transit — 18 thsd tonnes, according to APK-Inform.
According to the Chairman of Nika-Tera specialized sea port, Oleksandr Gaidu, during 11 months of 2015 the port managed to keep fairly good cargo turnover volumes, because the company used all available storage areas for grain cargoes, though which were originally intended for “chemistry” cargoes.
