Ukraine increased its production load at agrarians

The FINANCIAL — APK-Inform analysts formed their analysis of the key indicators of the current condition of agricultural industry in Ukraine, which showed the systematic growth of specific production load per each agrarian.

In particular, in 2014 the average working rural dweller in Ukraine got 8.8 ha of crop planted areas, up 11% compared with the previous year (7.9 ha). At the same time, it should be noted that in 2014, the general planted areas of agricultural crops in the country decreased by 4% to 27.2 mln ha, against 28.3 mln ha in the previous year.

Generally, reduction of the population of Ukraine, and in particular, more intense decreasing of the rural population, became the major reasons for the above mentioned tendency. According to the official statistics data, as of the beginning of 2015 in Ukraine there were 3.1 mln people employed in the rural sector, or 17% only of the general employed population.
