The FINANCIAL — Taking into account rather good grain harvest results, Ukraine may almost double its volumes of grain exports to Turkey, declared the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Oleksiy Pavlenko on December 2, according to APK-Inform.
According to the Minister, increasing of Ukrainian agricultural products supplying on the Turkish market will become a reality in the nearest future.
Also, the Minister stressed that grains, oilseeds and vegetable oils dominate in the structure of Ukrainian agricultural exports to Turkey. During 10 recent months of the current year, the export supplies of grains to Turkey totaled more than 55 mln USD, oilseeds almost 75 mln USD, etc.
O.Pavlenko informed that the general export volumes of Ukrainian agricultural commodities to Turkey reached 565 mln USD in monetary terms, as opposed to 505.5 mln USD in the same period last year, and 603.5 mln USD during 10 months of 2013.
