Ukraine: Ministry of Agrarian Policy and market participants agreed the main indicators of the Memorandum on grain exports

The FINANCIAL — The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and grain traders agreed the main indicators of the Memorandum on coordination of grain export volumes in 2015/16 MY, declared the Minister of Agrarian Policy, Oleksiy Pavlenko on October 6.

According to him, the market participants already started signing the memorandum. In particular, the domestic consumption will total 24 mln tonnes, the exports – 36 mln tonnes. Such indicators will completely ensure the adequate level of food security in the country.

O.Pavlenko informed that the minimum forecast of grain production totals 58.5 mln tonnes, although the index can rise to 60 mln tonnes. Therefore, the issue to be discussed, and the memorandum indicators to be changed.
