The FINANCIAL — The European Union may consider provision of additional quotas for supplying of Ukrainian agricultural products, declared the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Taras Kutovyi on August 1.
According to him, in the very beginning the EU did not plan to discuss the issue at all: agreement is signed, what to talk about? But T.Kutovyi started explaining the Russian impact on Ukrainian balance of trade. The factor became a strong argument.
The Minister expects for changes in a number of commercial food products. Ukraine needs to defend its positions on the certification, convince the global market in high-quality parameters of Ukrainian products, he concluded.
As a reminder, in June 2016 T.Kutovyi negotiated with the EU delegates to increase Ukrainian agricultural exports to the region, according to APK-Inform.
