The FINANCIAL — The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine initiates the revision of the draft law "On rates of export duties on certain varieties of agricultural products and on making amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On making of amendments to the Tax Codex of Ukraine and adoption of tariffs of the export duties for several varieties of grains”, which proposed to impose export duties on rye, oats, buckwheat, millet and some industrial crops, informed the press service of the Ministry on July 1.
To date, the officials provide intense debates about the VAT and the export duties within the established working group, chaired by Andrew Klyuev, First Vice Prime Minister, – noted Nikholay Prysiazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine prepared the draft law, which proposed to impose export duties on some types of grains and industrial crops.
Since July 1, 2011, the export duties on wheat, barley and maize came into force in Ukraine.
