The FINANCIAL — A two-day training seminar on action plan development has been held in Lviv for the 25 new signatory cities of the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (CoM).
Representatives of the cities were given an overview of the ‘Covenant of Mayors East’ initiative and its activities in Ukraine and learned how to plan actions to better implement their environmental obligations, according to EU Neighbours East Info.
CoM experts and coordinators in Ukraine presented tools and documents to participants as part of the seminar ‘Development of a Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan as a prerequisite for the implementation of Covenant of Mayors obligations’.
The cities also learned how to gather data to develop baseline inventories and reviewed best practices in energy efficiency in order to help plan their actions.
